Our core business at Wavelength Media is operating our own commercial websites. This page shows some of the main projects we are involved in.

MediaCollege.Com

MediaCollege.com currently receives over 15,000 unique visitors per day and is growing all the time.

Te Awamutu Online is our town's community website. Although Te Awamutu is a very small community, this site receives over 1000 unique visitors per day. A huge amount and variety of content is provided within the 500+ pages, including a world-class Virtual Town.
The sister site, TeAwamutu.Net, is a hosting service for organisations and businesses in the local district.

Paranormal-Phenomena.info & Paranormal-Encyclopedia.com
Providing objective information about paranormal phenomena. We plan to develop these sites over the coming years.

Horse-Adventures.com
This is a hobby site for Ange, featuring games and horse-related information.

Hallelujah-Chorus.com
Lyrics and other information about Handel's well-known piece.

EasyModRewrite.com
Tutorials for the Apache URL rewriting module, mod_rewrite.

Hits-Explained.com
A short informational site about the term "hits" in internet statistics.

seti.co.nz
Hobby site for Dave, dealing with the search for extraterrestrial intelligence in New Zealand.

Dave.co.nz
Dave's personal website has been somewhat neglected since its glory days in the 1990s, when it received a number of awards for being a ground-breaking online diary (years before the term "blog" was coined). Dave hopes to return to the site and revive it at some stage in the future. In the meantime it still gets a lot of visitors, especially the articles debunking the moon hoax theory.

Other Projects

Virtual Town

A multimedia CD which includes a variety of elements. The main interface is an interactive map which allows users to "visit" locations around the town. The CD also includes tours, games and other activities.

At this stage only Te Awamutu has been developed and we have no firm plans for other towns, but the project could easily be adapted to any town or location.

The Race Cafe (Sold)

This is a forum website for the New Zealand horse/greyhound racing industry. We launched this site in April 2000 and ran it until June 2005. During this time The Race Cafe consistently rated as the busiest racing site in New Zealand, and rated in the top 10 across half a dozen categories.

The site was sold in June 2005 to Annie Scott Williams. We no longer have any affiliation or involvement in The Race Cafe.
